This Air Freight Service utilizes the Monday thru Friday courier
flight from Newark and is designed for cargo with a minimum weight
of 150lbs. This is to say that cargo that weighs less than 150lbs
will be charged at the minimum weight of 150lbs. Please refer to
the rate and charges below

Newark Airport to IBC Hamilton Facility
The customer will need to arrange their own pick up and delivery from our IBC Hamilton Facility.
- $1.05 per pound from Newark Airport to IBC Hamilton, 10 Park Road, City of Hamilton, Bermuda
- Plus a $25 documentation fee for Newark Airport .
- Plus a $45 Fee for HM Customs Bermuda clearance and creating the Bermuda Customs Declaration form.
- Plus 1.25% of the shipment value (Insurance charge)
- Plus a Fuel Surcharge of $.32 per lb.
Your shipment can be delivered right to your door for an additional
$.30 per pound. |

Please remember that a dimensional weight is used for packages that are lighter in weight but may be overly bulky. When the dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight of the shipment, dimensional weight is used.
Dimensional weight is calculated as follows*:
L x W x H / 166 = Dimensional Weight
L= Length in inches
W= Width in inches
H= Height in inches
A Shippers Export Declaration (SED) form is required by U.S. Customs for all shipments with an invoice value greater than U.S. $2,500. The retailer/supplier of your freight is the shipper and they are obliged to complete the
SED. It should accompany the freight when it is shipped to SAS Cargo. The link below provides your supplier/shipper with the SED and the necessary information to complete the
